I am a specialist Gynaecologist and Urogynaecologist, which focuses on treatment of female pelvic floor dysfunction. This is a very common problem that can affect 1 in 4 women in their lifetime. Prevention as they say is always better than cure.  So, in my care of you from conception to delivery and beyond, I will support and offer you the best possible options for management of any obstetric and gynaecological issues you may face.

My journey started with my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Monash University, Melbourne and led on to my specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the St George and Sutherland area. Following this, I completed the highly prestigious Urogynaecology Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane Women’s hospital and obtained subspecialist qualifications in Urogynaecology. The experience I have in complex laparoscopic and vaginal surgery for prolapse, incontinence and mesh problems make me one of the few Urogynaecologist in Sydney who can provide the full range of treatment options for women.

I am passionate about innovation and teaching to improve women’s wellbeing and quality of life. I am able achieve this though my role as the Senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales and as the Chair of the International Urogynaecological Association: Social media committee.  On my days off, outdoor water and oil painting gives me to a much-needed digital detox with a healthy splash of sunshine!
